Rodrigo Séllos is a director, editor, producer and scriptwriter,
founder of Caos e Cinema, a production company based in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2026, he was selected to the Rotterdam Creators Lab,
during the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Séllos is a Projeto Paradiso Talent since 2019.
Over 16 years he has worked across fiction and documentary features and shorts,
as well as series for TV and streaming.
In 2020 he won the prize for Best Film at the 53rd Brasília Film Festival,
with the feature documentary "Searching for Makunaíma'',
also part of the official selection of the Festival de Cine de La Habana in 2021.
As an editor, Séllos won Best Editing at Cine PE (2024) for Invisible,
and has edited more than ten feature films. Among his latest work in TV as a director,
we can highlight "Happy Hour with Mariana Ximenes", awarded at Venice TV Award 2023 (Globoplay / GNT).
His latest short documentary “You don't know me" was awarded Best Short Film in Rio Int’l Film Festival,
and Jury's Special Mention in the 21st Málaga Film Festival.
Rodrigo is currently working on his first fictional feature film called “Macuxi”,
produced by TvZero and Caos e Cinema, among other projects.
